Well Simulator Control System
This custom well simulator control system was designed for a client who needed to simulate pressure and temperature conditions at 10,000′ (400 degrees, 5,000 psi) to test long lengths of 4″ well casing and other tools still in development. The entire unit was built onto a goose neck trailer for portability. Hydraulic cylinders, powered by a hydraulic power pack unit, raise the section of casing being tested and lower it for changing and transportation. A collapsible walk way and railing was added around the trailer to provide space for workers to move around the equipment safely. The walkway and railings then fold up for transportation.
